Commissioner urges moving industrial development funds under commissioners for more oversight

Commissioner Bill presented a proposal asking the commission to increase oversight of county‑funded industrial development dollars and to consider moving those line items under the county commission's budget or otherwise renaming them to allow broader access. He said the proposal follows recent debate about an RHID project and communication gaps with EPID and argued tax dollars should be available to any valid industrial development plan.
