The board approved multiple design reviews, waivers and vacations — from vehicle-repair and small retail projects to single-family subdivisions and cross-access agreements — and held a few items for re-notification to the Oct. 7 hearing.

On Sept. 2 the Clark County Commission voted on many routine and held land-use items across several planning areas. The board approved use-permit and design-review applications for a vehicle-maintenance site (item 23), two single-family residential waivers in Lone Mountain (items 24–25), cross-access approvals for an office site (items 26–28) and multiple small-lot residential projects (items 34–35). Applicants and staff described waivers to landscaping, retaining walls, front-yard setbacks and off-site improvements that were tailored to site constraints.
