Garden Foundation granted use-permit for cafe and training program for adults with disabilities
The board approved a two-year review and allowed the Garden Foundation to operate a cafe as a training and employment program for adults with disabilities; the recreational facility events were restricted for tenants of the property.

The Garden Foundation presented a request to preserve existing entitlements and to allow a small public cafe that will serve as a training site and a pathway to competitive employment for adults with disabilities. Taylor Chaney said the organization intends to open the cafe to the public to provide on-site job training and competitive-wage placements.
