Broome County officials told the Economic Development, Education & Culture Committee on Aug. 12 that a project in the 2025 Capital Improvement Program requires a broader scope than initially estimated. C. Marion (Arena/Forum) and R. Brown (Department of Public Works) explained that the original estimate was based on replacing certain equipment, but planning and design showed additional work was necessary to bring the HVAC system up to current code and to address related systems.
