Superintendent Dr. Wenzel presented a draft district improvement plan built around three main priorities: reorienting central office to help principals be stronger instructional leaders, investing in principal leadership capacity, and deepening collaborative professional learning communities (PLCs). "Our improvement is really based on 3 big ideas," he said, adding that principals will set school improvement plans and the district will pursue a three‑year partnership with PLCs at Work.
