The Morgan County Board of County Commissioners on March 4 approved five traffic‑control resolutions aimed at improving safety on county roads, including stop signs at several intersections and a 15 mph speed limit near a new school. Bruce Bass, Morgan County Public Works Director, presented the proposals and asked the Board to correct one resolution to cite the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department rather than the Colorado Highway Patrol. "The resolution should read 'as recommended by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department' not 'as recommended by the Colorado Highway Patrol'," Bass said during his presentation.
