Nassau County planning staff recommended and the Board approved CRD26‑004 April 27, allowing IQ Fiber to install roughly 568 feet of underground cable and a 24"x36" in‑ground vault along the Amelia Island Parkway canopy road. Senior planner Adam Olsen said the applicant will use directional boring to place conduit 42–48 inches below grade under seven trees, minimizing above‑ground disturbance and avoiding trenching.
