Applicant warns wetland permit could delay Tributary connection for years

The applicant said a required wetland permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a pedestrian connection is not in the current plan and that resolving impacts previously took about three years; staff said the issue may need further discussion and review.

William Schaffer told staff that one of the intended pedestrian connections lacks an Army Corps of Engineers wetland permit and that the Corps' permitting work has been ongoing for related areas. "And so something like that... could take, like, 3 years again," Schaffer said, warning that adding the connection now could delay the project timeline.
