Committee approves four routine resolutions, including community grants and personnel request
The Broome County Economic Development, Education & Culture Committee carried four resolutions on Dec. 9, 2025: an amendment with the City of Binghamton for the Small Community Grant Program (2023–2024), a personnel change request for the Office of Employment and Training, and agreements with the Broome County Firefighter's Association and the Town of Dickinson for 2025–2026 funding allocations. The Economic Development, Education & Culture Committee of the Broome County Legislature met Dec. 9, 2025, and carried four routine resolutions addressing grants and staffing. The items recorded as carried were Resolution #14 (amendment with the City of Binghamton for Small Community Grant Program, 2023–2024), Resolution #17 (personnel change request, Office of Employment and Training), Resolution #20 (agreement with the Broome County Firefighter's Association for Hotel Motel Economic Development Marketing Fund for 2025–2026), and Resolution #21 (agreement with the Town of Dickinson from the Small Community Fund for 2025–2026).
