Council approves $16,986 HVAC replacement using ARPA interest funds
Trappe officials approved Comfort Plus's $16,985.96 proposal to replace aging HVAC in the council room and administrator's office and directed staff to source future maintenance contracts from other vendors; the payment will come from interest earned in the ARPA account.

Town Administrator Erin Braband told the council the existing heat and air systems in the council room and the administrator's office are over 20 years old and beyond repair and presented a Comfort Plus proposal to replace them with a multi-zone ductless mini-split system priced at $16,985.96.
