Glades County commissioners approved preconstruction services with Wright Construction Group, Inc. to complete additional improvements to the county’s E‑911 facility at the Pollywog Fire Station in Muse. County Manager Paul Carlisle told the board the work would include design and engineering, substantial backup systems for E‑911, and two additional vehicle bays; Carlisle cited changes to water storage, dumpster removal, permitting, and access as drivers of cost.
