At its March 13 meeting the Springfield Township EAC reviewed findings from a recent Cooks Creek stream corridor walk that identified extensive stream scour and signs of non-point source pollution coming from farm fields in the area. The council noted evidence of excess nutrients appearing to originate from the Springtown area and expressed concern about impacts to aquatic habitat and water quality.
