The Jury awarded material contracts—Arcosa Aggregates for pea gravel, road gravel and river sand, Prairie Contractors for hot asphaltic mix—and authorized negotiations with KZ Management LLC to operate the Beauregard Parish Covered Arena for a three-year term.

At its July 14 meeting the Beauregard Parish Police Jury approved multiple one-year bid awards for construction materials: Washed Pea Gravel to Arcosa Aggregates at $41.00 per ton, Road Gravel to Arcosa Aggregates at $41.00 per ton (plus fuel surcharge), River Sand to Arcosa Aggregates at $10.50 per ton (plus fuel surcharge), and Hot Asphaltic Mixture to Prairie Contractors, LLC at $105.00 per ton. Those one-year contracts and prices were presented by the Finance committee and adopted without recorded opposition.
