The Board reviewed three detailed engineering bids for the Winhall Hollow Road project and discussed the need to narrow scope to reduce costs. Christie Boswell said the bid documents were substantial and that "if the scope of the request were narrowed, there could be movement in the pricing." Board members agreed to invite each contractor to a 15-minute session at the Aug. 19 meeting to allow bidders to explain pricing and answer questions.
