The committee reviewed a preliminary inventory that prioritized towpath access points (DCNR property), a dilapidated concession building at S. Main (leased to FODC), New St. Borough Complex lands, a railroad berm near Lenape Park, Union Square path and Windy Bush preserved land. Several sites will require coordination with DCNR and FODC.

Committee members walked through a preliminary inventory of municipal and partner‑owned locations and identified several priority sites for initial attention: multiple towpath access points (W Randolph, Parry, S. Main) that are DCNR property and will require external coordination; a dilapidated former concession building at S. Main Towpath currently leased by Friends of the Delaware Canal (FODC) identified as a potential canal museum site; the New St. Borough Complex (about 3 acres); a railroad-facing berm by Lenape Park; the Union Square walking path; and the Windy Bush preserved land and cemetery trail.
