Drexel Heights board adopts fire-code changes; one member objects

The Drexel Heights Fire District board on June 26 adopted amendments to its fire code under Resolution 2026-10. Community Risk Reduction Director Dennis Stiegleiter told the board the changes were intended "to match the Town of Sahuarita and Santa Rita Fire District so it is the same for the inspectors." The board voted 3-1 to approve the amendments; Laura Dailey cast the sole dissenting vote.
