EDA submitted USDA grant application; 501(c)(6) revocation discovered
Patrick County EDA staff submitted a Rural Business Development Grant application to USDA. During USDA review officials discovered the Authority's 501(c)(6) tax-exempt status was revoked Nov. 15, 2017; staff said they will work with the IRS to seek reinstatement so grant activity can continue.
