Trustee-led motion rejects proposed school marshal program
Three Rivers ISD trustees voted unanimously (6-0, one absent) on Sept. 15, 2025, to reject a proposed School Marshal program after discussion; the motion was made by Trustee Rick Sowell and seconded by Trustee Darrell Pullin.

Trustee Rick Sowell moved, "I move not to approve the school marshall program," and Trustee Darrell Pullin seconded the motion, which the board approved by a 6-0 vote with Trustee Lee Benham absent. The vote ended discussion without a plan to adopt the marshal model at this time.
