A junior-high principal presented interim test data for grades 6–8 and said some cohorts have shown notable gains after staffing changes and targeted supports. "In the 6th grade... on the 1st test in the fall, 0 percent of students scored proficient or advanced. We have a new teacher there now... and now the proficiency has gone up to 10%." The presenter gave detailed percentage-point increases across science, math and ELA and explained how new teachers and tutors contributed to improvements.
