The Price County Highway Committee approved a resolution authorizing road-construction projects to be financed with short-term debt in 2027 and directed staff to prepare the formal borrowing paperwork. Staff said the resolution puts numbers into the budget process earlier so borrowing decisions can be addressed before the formal budget cycle. "This really sets up the budget prior to the budget," a staff member said during discussion.
