The Akron Board of Trustees recorded unanimous approval on a series of motions at its May 5 meeting. Major actions included approval of the consent agenda (minutes and bills), acceptance of a $1.2 million Colorado Energy Office grant for Town Hall energy improvements, authorization of a Hangar 16 sublease to Flying High Aviation, award of on-call engineering RFQ to RockSol Engineering, award of airport planning RFQ to LJA Engineering, reaffirmation of a $750,000 DOLA EIAF grant application (with a 50% match), adoption of Resolution 26.07 to designate bank signatories, approval of a special event permit for the Akron Elks Poker Run on June 13, and the transfer of FAA entitlements to La Junta Municipal Airport.
