Bradley County dissolves down-payment assistance program, cancels remaining loans and redirects funds
The commission voted to end the Bradley County THDA H.O.U.S.E. down-payment assistance program effective July 1, 2025, cancel outstanding loan balances and authorize remaining funds for future housing projects consistent with THDA/HUD rules. The action was unanimous.

The Bradley County Commission adopted Resolution 2025-19 on June 16 to dissolve and discontinue the county’s Down-Payment Assistance THDA H.O.U.S.E. Program, cancel all remaining debt owed to the county through the program and allow remaining program funds to be used for future housing-related projects consistent with THDA and HUD requirements.
