The Board elected Supervisor Howard to the second At-Large Executive Committee seat following three rounds of voting. Initial ballots failed to produce a 13-vote majority: round 1 and round 2 tallies left Howard short of the threshold. In the third and deciding round Supervisor Howard received 17 votes and was declared elected.
