Jackson County commissioners reviewed whether the Walter Bidder Committee should meet more frequently than the bylaws' default of once per year. A staff member explained the committee "follows the Oregon Department of Agriculture in a grant cycle" and typically meets in January to review prior-year depredation claims, in April–May to allocate the latest ODA award, and in October to set depredation amounts.
