Board approves amended open-space and forest conservation easements for two developments
The commissioners approved an amended open-space easement for the Hopelands subdivision (Smith) to protect 34.639 acres and an amended forest conservation easement for R.B. Baker & Sons, increasing protected acreage to 4.27 acres.

Planner Doug Summers presented two conservation-related actions. For the Robert and Teresa Smith (Hopelands) major subdivision, an amended deed of open space easement was approved to protect 34.639 acres after a lot change that created Slide Lot 14 and reduced other pad acreage.
