Panel approves minor code clarifications to townhouse and duplex definitions

Adam Olsen, senior planner, presented ordinance 2026‑048 and LDC 26‑009, a narrow amendment to two definitions in the land development code so that townhouses can be two units and two‑family dwellings (duplexes) must be located on a single parcel. Olsen said the change is intended only to clarify code language and does not change uses allowed in zoning districts.
