Council hears EPA testing update; town weighs voluntary chlorination to avoid mandate

Town staff briefed the council on recent discussions with the Environmental Protection Agency and a forthcoming contractor assessment of the system. The administrator said EPA contacts reported several TC-positive samples since the town went off coordination and that a contractor will perform NGA and micro-particle assessments; the town is preparing to test again the following Monday.
