The Wythe County Planning Commission elected David P. Midkiff as chair for calendar year 2026 following roll-call tallies for two nominees and a separate vote to cease nominations. The Commission also elected Christopher C. King as Secretary/Treasurer and named Heidi D. Lyall vice chair; motions to adopt the slate of officers passed during the reorganization portion of the Feb. 2 meeting.
