The Rio Linda/Elverta Community Water District board on June 22 adopted the preliminary budgets for fiscal year 2026–27 and scheduled a public hearing for August. Director Chris Gifford moved adoption and Director Jason Green seconded; the motion passed by a roll call vote of 5-0-0.
