At the June 8, 2026 special session of the Jefferson County Commission, Commissioner Steve Stolipher raised two procedural concerns while the commission considered an appointment to the Jefferson County Development Authority. Stolipher requested that the commission "share the name of the Jefferson County Development Authority board member under consideration for removal" and asked whether two commissioners were required to call the special meeting; President Pasha Majdi ruled the Points of Order out of order.
