Council adopts housekeeping amendments to county ethics code
On May 5 the council adopted Bill No. 2026-05 to amend Cecil County Code Chapter 39 (ethics) for administrative corrections; administration thanked the council manager and the ethics commission chair and the bill passed unanimously.

The council gave final reading and approved Bill No. 2026-05 on May 5 to make administrative corrections to Cecil County Code Chapter 39, the county's ethics code. Administration publicly thanked Council Manager Henson for bringing forward improvements and noted the chair of the Ethics Commission was present for approval.
