The full story

The board voted to transmit CPA 26‑001, an amendment affecting the East Nassau Community Planning Area (ENC‑PA), to state and regional agencies for review. Planning staff described the requested changes as a rebalance of land‑use categories within the ENC‑PA that increases residential tier acreage in the southern planning area while reallocating nonresidential entitlements to other portions of the plan area. Staff and the applicant said the proposal would increase certain upland conservation acreage while maintaining trip neutrality for entitlements countywide.
