Commission approves adding Solid Waste superintendent to city vehicle take-home list
The commission approved adding Solid Waste Superintendent Lori Creech to the list of employees permitted to take a city vehicle home; Creech said she has been taking the Solid Waste truck home since Dec. 15, 2024. The motion passed with four council ayes, one council nay and two supervisor ayes.

Solid Waste Superintendent Lori Creech told the commission she has been taking the Solid Waste truck home since December 15, 2024, explaining that a prior supervisor approved the arrangement to allow supervisory travel between the Landfill and Recycling Center. Commissioners discussed whether she was on the official authorization list and then voted to add her to the list.
