Evergreen Elementary: district says construction is progressing and remains on tight schedule

A presenter gave the board a construction update on Evergreen Elementary and said the project is "moving along extraordinarily well." The presenter reported that sidewalks, utilities and preliminary site work are in place; footings have been poured in many areas; prefabrication of walls and some early procurement for long-lead items are underway. He said three contract amendments have been executed and that Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) 3, covering the total project budget, will be presented at the next board meeting.
