Commissioners reviewed three mascot finalists they selected and said they sent the designs to other city boards and commissions to gather broader feedback before making a final selection. "So the mayor asked us to come up with a mascot for the city that can be used by the different boards and commissions at events," the chair said, describing the intent to get input from multiple groups.
