Mayor Larry Waters presented Proclamation 2025-09-01 "Honoring Jonas Smelcer and His Service to Sevier County" during the Sevier County Board of Commissioners steering committee meeting on Sept. 8, 2025. Commissioner Harold Pitner moved to approve the proclamation and Commissioner Carroll Rauhuff seconded; the committee approved the motion unanimously.
