County extends engineering contracts, approves camera upgrades for county buildings
The board extended RETTEW and GFT Infrastructure engineering contracts through Jan. 17, 2028, with updated hourly rate schedules and approved a $70,025 contract with NRG Controls to replace and add security cameras and install two new network switches at county facilities.

Lancaster County approved one-year extensions to two county-engineer contracts and updated hourly rate schedules. RETTEW Associates remains Primary County Engineer through Jan. 17, 2028, with updated compensation (for example, County Engineer $200/hr; Senior Project Manager $215/hr); GFT Infrastructure will remain Secondary County Engineer through Jan. 17, 2028, with its own updated rates (for example, Principles $260.52/hr; County Engineer $229.63/hr). Both contracts include standard expense and meeting-attendance terms and are budgeted through General Services.
