Neighbors warn of drainage, noise and traffic risks at proposed Rolin Fields complex
Nearby residents and neighbors told the ZBA they are concerned the proposed soccer field and pickleball courts at 3974 Route 9G could worsen seasonal flooding, increase nighttime lighting and create traffic hazards at the Route 9G exit.

Neighbors attending the Aug. 12 ZBA meeting described persistent wet conditions on abutting parcels and warned that elevating and developing the field could alter runoff. Terry Roche, who lives at 3986 Route 9G, said the parcel is wet part of the year and that the recently installed field appeared very close to her property: "the soccer field looks like it is three feet from her property line," she said.
