The draft ordinance allows agrivoltaics as an option and provides variance and remediation pathways. Members debated how prescriptive agrivoltaics management plans should be if a developer relies on them to secure a variance. One board member argued that agrivoltaics should not be forced but, if claimed, must be supported by a clear plan: “But if they're gonna say they're gonna do it, tell me what you're gonna do.”
