Resident asks planning commission whether 1969 covenant blocks building second home in Rancho Acres

Donnie Dufour told the DeSoto Parish Planning Commission that he has owned property in Rancho/Richland Acres since the mid-1960s and asked whether restrictive covenants adopted in 1969 would prevent him and his son from building two adjacent homes. "I've had land since the mid sixties, and my son and I are wanting to build 2 new homes there," Dufour said during the meeting.
