Occoquan council re-establishes Riverwalk Expansion Committee, appoints Nicholas Roper
The council authorized the mayor to appoint and chair a committee to revise the RESC Report and craft an updated strategic plan for the Riverwalk Expansion Project; the Mayor appointed all current council members and Nicholas Roper; the motion passed unanimously.

Vice Mayor Jenn Loges moved "to authorize the Mayor to appoint and chair a special committee to revise the RESC Report in light of current funding realities and to develop an updated, actionable strategic plan for the Riverwalk Expansion Project." Councilmember Theo Daubresse seconded and the motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Mayor Earnie Porta then appointed all current council members and Nicholas Roper to the Riverwalk Expansion Committee, noting former committee member Nancy Freeborne Brinton is no longer on the council.
