Planning commission continues kitchen/ADU amendment to October after directing staff redrafts
By motion, commissioners continued the text amendment to the October planning commission meeting and asked staff to submit a final redlined draft for vote; the motion was moved by Commissioner Elliot and seconded by Menifee and passed by voice vote.

After extensive debate about definitions, affidavit recording and policy options, the planning commission voted to continue the text amendment to the next scheduled meeting to allow staff time to prepare a final draft. Chair asked for a motion. Commissioner Elliott moved to continue the item; Menifee seconded. The commission approved the motion by voice vote and directed staff to submit a redlined final draft in advance of the October meeting.
