River Ridge Board approves $7,026 repair work order for nano bubblers

The River Ridge Community Development District Board on April 28 approved a one‑time work order with Premier Lakes, Inc., to repair nano-bubbler equipment on Lakes H1‑A, H1‑B and E7‑A for $7,026. Bill Kurth of Premier Lakes told the Board the lakes and the dry retention areas (DRAs) "are in good condition" and described inspections of the nano bubblers.

Kurth presented a manufacturer proposal to replace the nano bubblers for about $25,000 and an alternative from Premier: replace the nonstandard 8‑horsepower water pumps, the aeration compressor on select systems and several check valves to get the systems operational for evaluation. The work order does not guarantee no further repairs will be necessary, Kurth said. "Doing this will get the aeration compressors and the pool pumps operational in order to evaluate the system; it does not guarantee additional repairs will not be necessary," he stated.

On motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly, "the Premier Lakes, Inc. One‑Time Work Order Agreement, as amended, to repair the nano bubble machines on Lakes H1‑A, H1‑B and E7‑A, in the amount of $7,026, was approved." The motion passed with all supervisors in favor. The Board prioritized Lake H1‑B during the discussion and noted warranty and agreement‑form language differences before approval.

The approval directs Premier Lakes to proceed under the amended one‑time work order; staff said they will monitor the results and report back if additional repairs are required.
