District Engineer reported four drainage sites under construction with pipes and grading in progress; Palmetto Dunes will require removal and replacement of 12 trees (mostly slash pines, two red maples) and Oak Run will have six Cabbage Palms replanted. Sod installation is expected the week of July 2 and project completion is anticipated by end of July if grading stays on schedule.

The full story

District Engineer Charlie Krebs told the Board that all four drainage improvement sites are under construction with cleared sites and silt fences in place. He said Turnberry and Palmetto Dunes had sod removed and that fill and grading were completed in Turnberry. Krebs provided a schedule: pipe installation in Oak Run is planned for the week of June 29 and sod installation in Turnberry and Palmetto Dunes the week of July 2; if grading is completed, the project is expected to finish by the end of July.
