Hamilton County scheduled a public hearing for the 2026 multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan on Feb. 24, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Emergency management staff told the board the plan, on a five-year update cycle, has been completed and approved locally but is awaiting an official letter from FEMA to finalize federal approval.
