Planning commission asks board to request VDOT speed study for route near proposed mini golf

At the meeting staff updated commissioners that a speed study request recommended by the planning commission was submitted to the board and forwarded to VDOT. Staff said VDOT staff attended the meeting and confirmed receipt and that VDOT will proceed with its internal process to evaluate speed limits and sight‑distance concerns on the affected roadway.
