Sheriff Jeff Wood told the commission the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) is available to the county and that Carbon County is eligible for $7,500 this year. Wood said the county has used JAG funds to support its canine program previously and suggested the department might apply this year to support an underwater drone for search-and-rescue operations.
