The Carlton County Board closed part of the meeting for discussion of union negotiations under Minnesota Statute 13D.03 and later returned to the adjourned meeting to authorize ratification of the 2027–2029 labor contract with Teamsters Local 346. The motion to authorize ratification was made by Commissioner Bodie, seconded by Commissioner Plante Buhs, and carried by all yea votes.
