County Administrator Kelly Schroeder reported a projected county-wide deficit of approximately $2.3 million for the 2027 budget. The board reviewed department and partner requests, including Central Minnesota Council on Aging’s appropriation request of $3,131 (no change from 2026) and East Central Regional Library’s budget request of $392,128 (a $5,910 or 1.5% increase).
