Sheriff's office, county staff say BJA COSEP applications will be coordinated, not competing
The county and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office both have resolutions to apply for BJA COSEP grants; sheriff's office representatives and county staff told commissioners they will coordinate applications so they are not viewed as competing submissions.

The Hamilton County Board of Commissioners heard two related resolutions on Sept. 2: Resolution 926‑23, authorizing the sheriff’s office to apply for up to $1,300,000 from the BJA COSEP program, and Resolution 926‑24, authorizing a no‑match training grant application to the Tennessee Corrections Institute for up to $12,500.
